Two-Piece Target Haul

I haven't had a haul in AGES. Literally.. so over the weekend I had a teenie haul at Target http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I got:

[x] Cover Girl TruBlend Powder Foundation in Ivory
[x] Caboodles Bronzer in Tahiti


I've worn them both twice and so far, I really love them both!

First, let me totally rave about the Tahiti bronzer. This thing is awesome. Bronzers have never looked right on me, they always look orange or muddy.. but this one is perfect. My mom said I looked very healthy. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I'm in love with it. Why didn't I try this sooner?!?!

The foundation .. also really great. You can control the coverage (I'd use a powder brush if I wanted a really light coverage) and it looks really good. The color I got, Ivory, is as perfect a match as I have ever gotten in a drugstore foundation. It looks very natural on, and it even covers my undereye circles and discoloration! Usually I have to use concealer as well as foundation for that. Hope it doesn't cause any breakouts, cause it's extremely nice.

Nice haul!! I'm dying to try the new Trublend foundation, but CG foundations are usually too pink on me.

WOW! I really want to try the CG foundation but couldn't find it around my place yet. I really hope I find it soon!! And I hope the color suits me...although I am very scared it won't because hardly any foundation has ever worked with my skin color....I am so friggin white I look like a white bedsheet! Well maybe thats a little exaggerated but still, Im so white I can never find anything to match my skin....is Ivory the lightest shade? If so, do you think it would work with very pale skin? Thenagain summer is comming,I should get outside a little more!!

North.. yes, I think Ivory is the lightest shade http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I was going to go with Classic Ivory, but after comparing the two shades, Classic Ivory looked a lot more pink.

I'm pretty pale myself, and Ivory is a very good match! It almost look a tad bit too light when I first put it on, but then it settles in and looks great. Since this is part of their TruBlend line, I guess it's supposed to adjust itself to your skintone.. at least I think that's what the back of the box said.
