You will think I am strange but I never shop in regular stores anymore. I don’t think I’ve step foot in a mall in 5 years unless it was an outlet mall. It’s all discount and sample sales for me. I don’t favor any particular brand.
I like T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, and all the other local discount stores you probably never heard about. I’ll hit the outlet malls far away like the Desert Hills outlet stores in Cabazon which is a high-end outlet mall in Southern California. Sometimes I will head into the Fashion District and hit the California Mart for sample sales.
Here is my guide to discount shopping in my area (Los Angeles & Orange County).

<span class="ev_code_BROWN">I don't really have a favorite brand...I'll wear anything as long as it's cute. I do like Dollhouse (I think that's the brand) jeans though. I have several pairs and they always do wonderful things for my butt 9x outta 10 http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I'll pretty much like to shop anywhere and everywhere as well..as long as they have cute clothes..I'm there http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I love TJ Maxx for purses and bags and other accessories. I dunno how mine does it..they always have up to date stuff for at least 1/2 what you would pay in other stores.

I don't really favor any particular brand, as long as it's cute, I'll wear it!! My fave places to shop are Target, Kohls, Belk, JCPenney, etc., and I'm always looking for a good deal!! Name brands have never really been a big deal to me, which is good because that leaves me more money for makeup. For jeans though, I usually buy Union Bay, simply because they seem to fit me best of all I've tried.
For shoes, I tend to favor MUDD, L.E.I. and Sketchers. I also love Old Navy's flip flops!!
For purses and accessories, once again, I don't really have a fave place. Anywhere I can find something that's cute and reasonably priced, and I'm happy.

I like JC Penney for lots of things. I also like Ross and Kohl's. Sometimes Walmart has cute things. Payless Shoe Source is nice. Very rarely Old Navy will have something I like, and The Gap is good too, even though I haven't been there in a very long time. I like TJ Maxx, especially for their hand bags and luggage type things. Consignment shops can be a lot of fun too. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Same here! They will be opening one in San Francisco soon but that's still 1 hour + 30 min. away. I'll take a drive over there to check it out once it's open. They need to start selling things on their website.
