I'm probably the only one who has ever noticed this...when you're looking at a magazine with married/engaged female celebrities, you never see the engagement ring. The rings are usually twisted backwards so the diamond doesn't show. I've always thought it was because the magazine didn't want to show enormous diamond rings because it would make the readers jealous. I certainly don't think most celebrities feel bad about showing off their wealth.
Any thoughts? I know how crazy this sounds!

You know what I hate about celebrity magazines too; they way the writer describes the stories.
"Brad and Angelina looked more than comfortable together." "They're definitely an item" says an onlooker. "He held onto her and showed no signs of letting go as the couple canoodled at the Beverly Hills hot spot, The Ivy.

I literally get embarrassed reading them.

Don't you love the "reveals the source" quotes? What source?! I hope others are like me, and read the magazines for a laugh-not for the truth.

"says an insider" or "close friend of the star"

Some of those Hollywood engagement rings are so big and expensive they probably don't sit upright on the finger unless they fit snugly. The stone is probably so heavy it turns the ring when the person is standing up.

LOL me too and I hate the word canoodle. I like those magazines for a laugh sometimes, you cannot believe a word that is in them http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
