Much hauling over an extended period..here are the results: http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

SHU UEMURA - ME Green 555 e/s, ME Silver 945 e/s (a back-up, it's my favourite), P Pink 30 Glow On, basic mascara, and Skin purifier (Cleansing Oil). (some of these were gifts from my friend, she's great! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif )
The Summer collection hasn't arrived here just yet.

MAC - Lustreglass in Wonderstruck, Beige-ing Shadestick.

PRESCRIPTIVES - Sunsheen Bronzing Trio and bronzer brush (thanks for the rec NYCTraci )I love it. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

STILA - All Over Shimmer Eyes #2 (yellowgold) and #10 (bronze/rose).

LANCOME - e/s duo "Est Ouest" (shades of gold/olive) very soft and beautiful colours.(waves to October and ck, i know you both have/had this ) I was surprised to come across it actually, i thought it had been discontinued. They only had two left, so i just had to get it, didn't I?! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
There was a GWP. The SA recommended a few Juicy Tubes, i decided on "Peche". This smells absolutely gorgeous, and i love the sheer pinky/peach, slightly iridescent colour. The texture and staying power is great too and it's very moisturising. Why have i never had one of these before!! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif The GWP included Bi-facil eye mu remover and definicils mascara, which is always good. There was a really a nice lipstick too. No 6 - Rose Nu, i think? Yay!

Hmm, i just posted this in OT! Howd that happen LOL http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

Nice haul Janet.

I love my Peche JT and truth be told I have nearly finished it, just the other night I was melting the gloss in a mug of hot water to get it all to fall down to the bottom of the huge 15mL tube! As for JT's methinks this is probably the best smell and tasting one. The pinky-peach color doesn not show up all that well on my pigmented lips but it is one of the glossiest glosses that I own.

Est ouest duo by Lancome. About a year ago, maybe a bit longer, I was using this duo in one way or another most every day. I love it. I have the older version that had a green-champagne color and dark golden-green color. The dark green pairs beautifully with MAC Tarnish eye khol and the lighter color works well with olive and bronze colors.

Rose Nu, I have never purchased this l/s but have gone through about three as this was the Lancome GWP color that came with almost every GWP here (going back a few years now, like maybe 10 or so.) I loved the color but after finishing about three tubes of it I thought it was time to try some new colors. LOL! Beautiful color though.

I am sure you will enjoy playing with your new goodies. I look forward to your reviews.

Hi Luvitall,

I hope you like the eyeshadowduo http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. The gold color is gorgeous.I liked to wear that with MAC powerpoint in so there jade. I have worn that when doing jazzballet and someone from the class gave me a compliment (made my day of course).

How do you like the Shu Uemura Basic mascara? I've heard good things about it, but not sure if it's really worth the $$. Could you please review when you get a chance? By the by, love ME Silver 945 e/s and P Pink 30 Glow On!!

Enjoy everything.</span>

Thanks for the replies girls http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Shelley - the e/s duo is gorgeous, you have similar colouring to me, so you need to take a look at it http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Def think about Peche, if you want to try a JT, i'm really glad i got this.

Erica - Shu Uemura will hook you...watch out. ME Silver 945 has your name on it! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Traci - The bronzer and brush are everything you said they would be, so thanks again! perfect colour(no orange)and the shimmer factor is just right, exactly what i was looking for. I had to get them in stages..they seem very popular here, as they were sold out of both at different times. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Carol - I can't believe you have this JT too, and you are down to the last few drops! Well done! The lipstick too LOL!!! We definitely have very similar taste? http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I've never seen this lipstick before, it was great to get such a 'me' colour in a GWP LOL. Thanks for the ideas for the e/s duo, you know i always appreciate it http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Hmm, it's strange that they would bring out a 'new' version, or maybe not. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif The lighter colour is hard for me to describe. I would say mine is a gold champagne with a very subtle hint of Olive undertones, eh? lol. Gold is the first thing i think of though. (what do you think October?) Does this sound very different from yours Carol? Anyway, i love it already! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

October - Thanks for the rec, i need to check out So There Jade. (did you get Buried Treasure yet??! I've used more than half of mine already http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif) I think i will love this e/s duo, i'm glad you and Carol talked about how nice it was....made me look http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif That was a nice compliment you got. Jazzballet? what is this? sounds good, i love ballet.

Jessica - the cleansing oil is very nice. I got the orange one for normal/dry skin. It removes mu, including eye mu. It's a very nice product that leaves your skin all clean and soft http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif See if you can get a sample to try first.

Shan - You NEED it, i'm tellin' ya!!! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

purelai - glad you like the e/s and the Glow on too, they are gorgeous aren't they!

Of course i'll review the mascara. What i can tell you so far is that i think i could layer this baby forever and it just does not clump!! Also, it gives a very nice soft but defined look, definitely not for those who want dramatic lashes. I keep changing my mind about it every time i put it on. I don't like dramatic lashes on me, but i can't decide if this is maybe just a little too subtle. I keep thinking i got a 'dry' one or something, y'know? I have to layer it like mad, i'm talking combing it through my lashes repeatedly before i get the look i want. Also, so far, i find it a little hard to remove? I'm using Rimmel eye mu remover at the moment. (it comes off quite easily if i rub the Shu cleanser into my lashes though.)I think this would be great if you already have very thick dark lashes (i don't http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif) Also, i believe it holds a curl very well. I can actually see how it would, although i don't curl my lashes. Did i just do my review there? http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Ach, that sucks Shan! I'm sortof in the same boat, i have to rely on my 'not so good with colours, non mu lovin' friend to describe everything to me over the phone...it's tough! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

It's all Samie's fault actually, she got me hooked with ME Silver! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Did I hear my name.? I have to jump in when I hear my name, just to be nosy, even if I am busy and tired. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Happy birhtday to you!!!! *sing* by someone who is half dead. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
You do have some awesome stuff that I am very jealous. *raid* I am jealous that you have such a nice friend.
Now on that ME Silver, I cannot believe you are having a second. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif But I do love it very much, and I almost had a heart attack when I was told that it was out of stock. So I can understand how you feel. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif The ME Green and the ME Silver go really well together, Silver in the lid and Greeen to line.
Don't blame me for doing things. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I jsut cannot help it. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Also I have told you not to get that mascara. Did anyone listen? http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I am into natural look, so this mascara is great for me. I have another 3 of them lining up. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif And hey, I do have thick dark but short lashes. Me think that you might have got a dry one. I am sorry that it does not work for you. Only if you listened...... http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I have got the P peach 40 A in the end, but no eye shadows and no Lollishines. I guess I need a little bit of pearlie pearl to perk up in the summer.
Enjoy your goodies.

Janet, yes the Est ouest that you describe sounds different b/c my light color is almsot totally devoid of anything that resembles gold. Champagne yes, gold no. In the recent months I have had a look at the testers and have seen that the new Est ouest looks different to mine. They still have similar undertones but the colors aren't exactly the same anymore. Sometime ago I asked a Lancome MA about this and she said that the new batch was somewhat different. I asked why and she just looked at me with a blank, vague expression LOL. So I didn't push the question any further.

I suppose it could be anything from new manufacturer through to some of the pigment colors no longer being available so they just got as close as they could find or they did all their market research and found that these new colors were going to sell better.

As for why they didn't change the name of the color, dunno. You would think they would change the name. Like the colors are different, not totally different like blue is to red but they are different enough to warrant a new name.

Regardless of name, it is an awesome duo.

It can be a bit bright, I had the powerpoint sagegrass on and my boyfriend said that he like this more than the other one because he found that a bit too 'harsh' or bright looking. I think he meant my so there jade pencil. I love it though http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I have not tried the buried treasure powerpoint. I'm thinking of CT so that probably means I won't try it for a while, but it is on my wishlist. From the powerpoints I tried stubborn brown, handforged, so there jade, sagegrass, lilacky, and permaplum. On my wishlist: buried treasure, bountifull brown, forever green, and maybe bordeauxline and silverplate.

I'm glad you like the eyeshadowduo http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I haven't tried to many eyeshadowbrands so I find it hard to compare qualitywise. I currently have the Lancome purple rain eyeshadowquad.

I'm not good in describing colors, but I think it's a pale gold.

the compliment was great to receive, sometimes such things can have a huge impact on your day http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I love the jazzballet classes, always lots to learn. Different kinds of music even popmusic (like red hot chili peppers for example, or U2)

the Lancome gwp sounds great.

I meant to say before, the JT doesn't show up as anything much on me either, just enough of a hint of pinky/peach iridescence. However, it turned out to be exactly what i wanted, and i love it. I don't normally like fruity smelling l/g, but this one is just lovely.

Yes, permaplum is real pretty (I use the lilac color out the Lancome purple rain quad as an wash and then permaplum to line). I'm afraid that the bordeauxline will have to much red? undertone. So before I buy I will ask if they would sharpen the pencil so I can apply it and see if it would work. Probably best if I go outside to check in daylight.

Happy Belated Birthday! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Great hauls. I hope you, er .... love it all. Yes, I know, I should be smacked for that.

I've never tried the Shu Basic mascara, but I think you'll be happy with the other Shu pretties. ME Green 555 is such a fun liner! And P Pink 30 gives such a fresh, pretty pink flush. Since buying it, it's become one of my favorite pink blushes. I am sitting here grinning that you bought a back of ME Silver 945. I almost did that myself one time. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I am looking forward to reviews as you use the products. Everything seems very nice. The Lancome e/s duo has piqued my interest right away though. I love gold/olive colors.

I hope you had a great birthday. From reading one of your posts, your wedding anniversary is coming up soon. Have a great anniversary too. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I used ME Green today as a liner, and i thought it was really fun and more. It's a beautiful green, made the whites of my eyes stand out etc etc...great! P Pink 30, was an immediate hit with me, it's perfect!! Me Silver 945 makes me somehow, want to hoard.

This is very very nice. They are beautiful soft colours, and work very well together, although i'm sure there are a ton of combinations with other e/s to try. You should check them out next time you are near a Lancome counter.
