I purchased this from shop- at- home. I am so pleased with it that it has crossed my mind that maybe I should buy a second one in case they quit making it. It is really great for straitening or creating a slight flip in short to medium length hair. It has teeth in the iron that grips your hair.

This is amazing. I ordered the whole expensive set from the maxiglide website. So far I have only used the big maxiglide, but the miniglide is just as good but in mini form.

ITA with Joana! i bought mine @ Bed Bath and Beyond for 60 though... the big straightner came by itself. it takes only 20 mins to a half hr to straighten my thick hair BUT be sure to have a good conditioner cuz excessive use will dry your hair out. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif have fun!!
