I was just wondering if anyone uses this. I bought some off of the stunning reviews at MakeupAlley. I'm just not sure how to use it.
I've tried it two ways so far:
I twisted my hair into little buns while it was wet (using the products) to see if I could get that wavy-beachy look. I ended up just getting a frizzy mess.
then I tried it on my dry hair to get a tousled bed-head look. Again I ended up just getting frizz.
I'm not sure if I'm just not using it correctly or what.
I like how it gives my hair tons of body, but it I can never run my hands through my hair after I use it (kind of like after the beach, how odd http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif). I really want this product to work. I was hoping it would do what JF Ocean Waves couldn't do.
Does anyone else have any input on this product? TIA! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I LOVE this stuff, Lucky. I use it as to make my layers stand out-for that cool, surfer piecy look. I don't use a whole lot, because I'm sure it can get icky.

I agree with Becky - I love this stuff, but I use it more to get piecey hair rather than to get waves. Granted my hair is naturally wavy and it works good for hold, but I prefer it for seperation.

I'm another one who likes it a lot, but for piecey-ness and texture rather than to actually make waves.

Maybe you're using too much?

Yep, I use it for the piecey look too, not waves. I put some in th epalm of my hands, run palms together and run through hair, concnetrating on the shorter layers of my hair. Then I finishe with hairspray.
