Am thinking of getting this to use on my super pale legs i don't think the light shade will look dark enough for my liking so i'm thinking of getting the med? i'm not sure what type of skin tone it is made for but if i'm too pale for it would the color come out all wrong?? also my legs are really dry now and there are some crack lines do i have to get rid of that first before i use this? would i get patches if i don't? thanks oh yea and how does this work? just rub it on like lotion everyday? would it smear or change color on my hands? thx

I'm still using this in between using my sunless tanner. I'd get the Light if I were you-the medium might look orangey since it's not meant for your skintone. Since it moisturizes like a moisturizer, you should be OK in terms of the crack lines. It doesn't color my hands-and half the time I don't wash them after.

I'm using the Light version sporadically, but I do notice a gradual 'glow.' It still smells sunless tanner-y to me, though. The good thing is that it doesn't seem to discolor clothing.

I am still using it.. and still loving it..but exfoliate more now with it because I notice when it fades it is sort of in "patches"..blech!

I'm actually on my second tube even though I posted about it not working anymore. I just can't really find anything better. I just want something that gives me a little color and even though it takes a few days, this gives me just that. I am very pale and I use the medium just because I didn't think the Light would show up on me. I think it's a good thing too because the medium hardly does anything for me after a few days.

I'm with Luckygirl. The first tube worked wonderfully, so I bought a second tube, and after using it for two weeks, I didn't have any color change at all. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Too bad because I thought it was great at first.

Hey marooncream! You'll probably a verrryyy slight change after the first day or so. Then it will probably take 4 or 5 more days to see any major results they aren't that major though, so don't worry). HTHS! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I haven't used mine in a while. It just quit working except to turn orange on my ankles and knees. Nowhere else, just those spots, no matter how little I used or if I watered it down even further with another moisturizer.

Regular old self tanners are a bit more tricky but I think the result is more worth it than this stuff. It's been a let down, which sucks since I was so super excited about it at first.

I wonder if Olay's version is any better..
