I'm thinking kind of like Ashlee Simpson's really dark brown color, only not AS dark. Just something rich and chocolatey-looking. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif TIA!

I just colored w/Feria in Bronzed Brown and it's really nice. Quite dark, rich brown w/a hint of red/bronze to it. If you want something w/no bronze try the Feria Espresso - I've heard raves about that one too.

I 2nd Rosie's recs. I've used both Bronzed Brown and Espresso. With your auburn hair, I think Espresso might be a bit too dark for you.

What's up with being in sync with you today LOL? http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I was going to suggest the exact same thing -- in fact, High Dimension puts out a range of shades specifically geared towards brown hair (not that I'd remember the name, because I'm brain-damaged like that http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif ). I'm using that line currently, and love it!

That made me laugh!! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Thank you all for your recs! I'm in the process of checking them all out right now!!
ETA - I'm checking out the Feria right now... Espresso looks so pretty!! Do the Feria shades really come out as multi-faceted as they appear on the website? It looks great! Also tried to check out the Revlon High-Dimensions, but I don't think they have the newer Browns section up yet. I do remember seeing them in the store and being interested in it... I'll have to take a closer look next time I'm there!

Hey sweetie!
Espresso is a gorgeous shade, and it really did come out multi-faceted. Espresso is the color my hair is dyed now. Here's a few pics if you're interested...
