Ulta Haul...

CG Tru Blend Loose Powders! Yes loose powders that are...LUMINOUS!!!!!! I picked up:

Bronze
Sunrise
Romance (pink)
some other I forget the name of (peach)

They also had fair. light, medium, honey, and sable(?) and these are luminous as well. Hopefully they are like my beloved Coty Luminous l/p! Will purchase next time :)

I also picked up Revlon e/s from the "Halle Berry" collection in Smoke (? lol I am totally making up names but its a greyish black shade) and Blushing Moment l/g (mauve shimmer)-as these were BOGOF.

I am too lazy to go look but I got 3 of the new CG Wetslicks from their new color story for the holidays. A gold/lemon shade, a bright berry, and a bright lilac shade.

The new CG Tru Blend loose powders sounds interesting, wonder if they are available at my local drugstores yet? And the new gold/lemond wetslicks sounds good too. I guess I'll have to see them in person to decide.

Okay girls! So, I tried one of the CG Tru Blend blushes in Pure Romance today and I have got to say that is is Pure Love :p Everyone knows I love almost all CG products anyway but I actually thought this was going to be dissapointing. The color looked so pale pink and chalky but on my skin it just sort of melted into my skin and made me look "icy"/fresh. The color appears the way MAC Porcelain Pink (my fave btw) and MAC Pink Opal pigment appear on the skin :) hths :) i will try the other shades soon.

Wow, I think I'll have to look up Pure Romance! I love to use MAC "pink opal" as highlight and I didn't get Porcelain Pink MSF while it's available. How much did you pay for it by the way? I've never purchased CG Tru Blend stuff, and just want to get an idea. Thanks!

Kat, I paid $6.49 for the powders at Ulta :) Their prices are pretty good compared to Longs and the now ex-Savon. I always found their prices so high :( The loose powder is in the same size as thier original loose pwder jar as well as NYC's loose powder, just to give you an idea of how much bang there is for your buck ;)

For some reason when I was looking at the colors, they all seemed to be darker than what they are supposed to be :( I use the original loose powder in Trans Medium but I think I might have to use Trans Fair in the Tru Blend. It couldve just been the lighting in the store. :)

They discontinued the Coty Luminous L/P didn't they? I have a tub I used like once, if you ever want it just let me know and I'll send it on to someone who will actually use it. :)
