I decided to haul tonight after patiently waiting for payday so I could head to Bath & Body Works with my "buy one product get one free" coupon! Well, I ended up going a little crazy! Instead of walking out with two products like I had originally intended, I left with eight! I did get one body spray free though because the Pleasures line was buy 3, get one free and I also got one of the body creams free with my coupon. I was disappointed that they didn't have the Twisted Peppermint products in yet, though. I got:
Brown Sugar & Fig Body Spray - This is an old favorite of mine from last year.
Exotic Coconut Body Spray - I have been using the body cream in this scent and wanted the spray to go with it.
Sensual Amber Body Spray - Same as with Exotic Coconut.
Vanilla Bean Noel Body Spray - OMG you ladies were right! This is the most heavenly vanilla scent EVER! The packaging is pretty - it's clear with a green label with a snowflake on it.
I also got:
Brown Sugar & Fig Body Cream
Exotic Coconut Body Cream - I'm almost finished with my first tube!
Vanilla Bean Noel Body Cream - Yummy! Pretty green tube as well.
True Blue Spa Wet Your Whistle Lip Balm with Shea Butter - This is ok. It's not as moisturizing as I thought it would be. I might go back to Smith's Rosebud Salve.
The store was already decorated for Christmas and they had Christmas music playing! The atmosphere really put me in a shopping mood, and boy did I spend! I know, I know, just another lame excuse! (You all know you'd do the same!)
After Bath & Body Works I decided to go to the MAC store. I needed a mascara and I've never tried MAC's. I also wanted more Lipglasses after becoming obsessed with Poetique, my first Lipglass ever. The SA commented on how great my eyes looked (I was wearing MAC Pigment in Chocolate Brown!) I'm so glad I listened to Miss Feisty aka Erica and decided to keep this pigment in the first place! I was going to purchase Subtle pigment and totally forgot about it. It looks like Sunnydaze to me, only darker. Oh well. I got:
Zoomlash Mascara in Zoomblack - I haven't tried this yet, but I will tomorrow. Has anyone ever used any of MAC's mascaras? Hmm.
Lipglass in Viva Glam V - I didn't see the newest Viva Glam Lipglass, but I loved this nudey color. It looks like it's nude AND nicely pigmented. It doesn't look like it will wash me out.
Lipglass in Lovechild - I remember posting a few weeks ago asking for Lipglass recs, and I went with this one that you lovely ladies gave me. I love this color! Thanks for the great rec! I must say that I find most of the Lipglasses to be too sheer or bright for me, but lately I'd rather have a few shades that I love rather than too many that I won't use.
And that, my dear friends, is the end of my lovely, satisfying haul! :p

Sweet haul! You know what's funny though? I was also at B&BW in search of the new Christmas fragrances! Sadly enough they weren't there, although the salespeople told me the products are coming in this week :D.

That's one sweet haul! I really need to pick up more vanilla bean noel body cream! I've gone thru quite a lot, it's my fav B&BW scent :) I've used MAC mascara X, it's pretty good, but not something HG for me. I decided to stick to drugstore mascara, since I get rid of them every 3 months, figure it's cheaper that way. I love VGV lipglass!! It goes with everything. Enjoy~

What an awesome haul! I'm glad you went back for more Lipglasses. I have both of those shades and wear them often. They go with so many looks. Plus, they're natural-looking. Enjoy them! :)
I know what you mean about Poetique. I purchased this as well and was pleasantly surprised how good this looks on the lips. When I first saw it, I wondered if it would be be orange-y because it's kind of coppery, but the pink opalescence makes it wearable for me. I love the subtle frost of the finish. That plus the color makes it look as if my lips are glowing. ;) I've never had a gloss like this before, so I'm happy with it.
Enjoy all your B&BW products. Nice choices! I want to check out Brown Sugar and Fig. Seems like something I'd like. I hope your store gets in the Twisted Peppermint products soon. :)

Great haul! I need to check out Poetique, I'm so out of the MAC loop! I got a lot of goodies at BBW last week (that 4/$10 antibacterial product sale gets me in the door, and then...lol) and it was all decked out for autumn--what a quick change!

I tried the MAC Zoomlash Mascara today and I hated it. I usually wipe my mascara brush off once with a tissue to remove any excess no matter what mascara I'm using, but with this one I had to do it over and over. This resulted in a big mess. Even after I wiped the brush, the mascara was still overly-wet and clumpy on my lashes. I had to use my lash comb several times, and in the end I was not pleased with the result at all. I only bought Zoomlash because the Prescriptives counter was out of my favorite, Lash Envy. I went to another Prescriptives counter today and luckily they had it, so Zoomlash is going back. I also like Clinique's High Impact Mascara, but I love Lash Envy more.
As for the other products, I love them all. I wore Brown Sugar & Fig today. It's a nice warm scent. Shannara, you might like it. You tend to like warm scents like I do. I'm going to wear Vanilla Bean Noel tomorrow. It smells delish. And of course I love Exotic Coconut and Sensual Amber.
And as for my MAC Lipglasses - all I can say is WOW! I wore Viva Glam V today. It's a great nude because it has some pink tones in it, which prevent it from washing me out. It will go with anything. Lovechild is a gorgeous plum on me - it has brown tones in it, definitely my kind of plum shade. Anything too purple or too pinky-plum looks altogether wrong against my neutral skintone. I look best in warm lip shades. MAC Lipglass is my favorite gloss formula of all time!

Nice haul & reviews, Marisa! :)
Glad you're enjoying the Lipglasses - once I tried them, no other glosses really compared.

I went back to B&BW and got Twisted Peppermint! I had another coupon to use so I got one product free. I got the 3-in-1 and used it for the first time this morning. I love the slogans on the bottles. This one says: "Candy Canes Gone Wild". It it a creamy body wash, which I love because I dislike shower gel. Shower gel always seems to make my back break out for some reason. It was a very minty shower experience! I also bought the Shimmer Body Cream. The texture of this is divine. It's very moisturizing but lighter than their regular body creams. It has glittery shimmer in it that is so pretty! It smells exactly like a candy cane. I love these products! I also sniffed the gingerbread and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a little too strong for my liking, but I did like the gingerbread. I might go back and get it later. I also purchased a backup of True Blue Spa Like Butter Shower Cream, a staple of mine for when I use my other body creams and body sprays. I so love B&BW this year!

Does the Peppermint 3-in1 scent linger after the shower?? I like gels that smell strong IN the shower, but don't linger on my skin afterward.

Thanks, Marisa, I'll check it out. I just read in Katie's B&BW haul thread that Fresh Vanilla is being discontinued, so I'll stop and sniff it when I go to buy a couple of back-up bottles of the FV shower gel. I also want to check out the True Blue shower cream you've mentioned a few times. :)
That's too bad about Zoomlash, but if it's any consolation I've never been crazy about any of MAC's mascaras.

kitkat85 - The scent of the Twisted Peppermint 3-in-1 doesn't really last on your skin out of the shower unless you pair it with the matching body cream or lotion. However, I have the cream and it's really strong. I wore it to work one day last week and all I could smell was peppermint on me all day in a not-so-good cloying way. Plus the body cream has shimmery glitter in it which is kind of annoying, even though it's pretty. I didn't want the lotion as I prefer the cream, but I wish they had made one without shimmer. To be honest, I really prefer my True Blue Spa Like Butter Shower Cream over the Twisted Peppermint 3-in-1 because it just has a clean scent that goes with any of my B&BW body sprays and body creams. I might end up tossing the Shimmer Body Cream because I doubt I'll be able to stand it (and I got it free anyway with a coupon), and just use up the 3-in-1. I tried it today as shampoo and it worked ok, so I'll be able to use it up quickly as both a shampoo and body wash. I definitely won't be purchasing any of the other Temptations scents.
Shannara - To my surprise, I've actually grown very fond of Zoomlash. I decided to keep it and give it another whirl and it's been working out great, but I do have to wipe the brush a lot. I looked on MAC's website today and it's not really the formula that I wanted, though. I had gone in the MAC store without looking up any of their mascaras and asked the SA for the most volumizing formula they had and this is what she gave me. However, on the site the Pro Lash sounds like what I was looking for, so I'm going to try that one next. Definitely check out the True Blue Spa Like Butter Shower Cream - as you can see, I didn't have much luck after all with Twisted Peppermint. :(
