Okay, so I know in the past I've said that I hated Bare Escentuals, but after doing consultation after consultation w/BE at my work and seeing great results, I gave in. My hunt for the perfect liquid foundation that I've been on for almost a year is finally over. I've tried Clinique, Nars, LORAC, Laura Mercier, Shiseido, Clarins, Cargo, Revlon, etc., and NOTHING WORKS( even with a good primer)! I will add that I *LOVE* LM TM and will switch btwn it and BE. So, I had a friend of mine color match me and apply. It lasted throughout the day and my skin looked flawless. NO MORE breakouts:D

~Bare Escentuals Get Started Kit in Fairly Light/ Light
~Bare Escentuals Foundation in Fair
~Bare Escentuals Multi-Tasking Minerals in Summer Bisque
~DDF ACNE Pumice Scrub
~DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser (repurchase)

I don't plan on going back to BE blushes, e/s, etc., and I will keep using my trusty concealers for undereye and blemishes underneath BE. That's all for awhile folks! Sometimes the best things are right in front of you!!!

I have never been able to use a powder type product either, but I'm really glad that this is working for you! My mother loves BE, but then again she has flawless skin to begin with.

Glad you found something that works for ya, Aimee! I dont like BE, but I do love minerals. They're the best for my acne-prone skin.

Can you tell me more about the DDF Blemish cleanser?

I'm glad it's working for you, I tried it a while back, and it just didn't do it for me, but I've found something that works for me, so it's all good. Enjoy~!

Oh, Erica, how I *LOVE* DDF! This is a great cleanser. It comes out as a soft blueish/white foam and the smell is really pleasant compared to some of their other products. The best part is that it leaves my skin nice and soft and clean. I use it in the morning and tone afterwards. They also have THE BEST moisturizer. It's called, Oil-Free Ultra Lite Moisturizing Dew.

The consistency of the moisturizer is dreamy. It's like a creamy gel if that makes sense. It has never clogged my pores or caused a breakout. I adore it!
I also wanna add that the cleanser does contain salicylic acid and sodium laureth sulfate, so steer clear if those ingredients cause problems for you.HTH;)

Wanted to update again. I was mixing Fair w/ Fairly Light and felt like I looked a little ghostly. I always underestimate the color in my skin. My co-worker urged me to mix Fairly Light w/ Medium Beige and I feel much better. That combo seems to match my skin better and give me a little color:D
