My Nordstrom& The Body Shop Haul!

I got a $75 Nordstrom Gift Card on Christmas, so I spent it (and more) on the MAC Danse collection. This collection is one of my favorite MAC collections in quite a while. Love it! I got:
-Lightscapade Mineralize SkinFinish
-Glissade Mineralize SkinFinish
-Pastorale Pigment
-Jete Eyeshadow
-French Grey Eyeshadow
-Pas-de-deux Lipglass (funny story about this- when I told the lady that I wanted this lipglass I called it "pah-day-doo) which is the correct way-it's a ballet term. She looks at me weird and giggles, then says in a snooty voice "Ummm... Its pronounced "pass-dee-ducks." I just said okaaay...

Then I went to the The Body Shop, and they were having a 4-for-$12, so I got:
-Shimmer Smudgers in Silver Edelweiss
-Brush-on-Bronze (It's the bronzer in little balls, a knock-off of the Guerlain Meteorites)
-Lip Prism Gloss in Blush
-Shimmer Lip Balm in Golden Apple

Great haul! :) And I find it very amusing that the MA couldn't pronounce pas-de-deux properly herself, but corrected YOU when you were much closer than she was.

Pass dee ducks?! :rolleyes: Holy cannoli, that's lame lol. But from what I understand, not uncommon -- I've had the same thing happen with other products from MAC (shouldn't the MAs be taught how to pronounce their products LOL?).

Gotta know -- does MAC Jete compare with anything already out there? I've heard and seen swatches that it's very comparable to Sally Girl's Cinnamon e/s single, but haven't seen it myself. Thoughts on that?

OMG that MA is such an idiot! I had the same thing happen to me when I told a customer about Chanel's fragrance, Pour Monsieur and of course I pronounced it like it is supposed to be pronounced, IN FRENCH! and this customer was all, "It's P-O-O-R M-O-N-S-E-W-E-R!" Oh God I wanted to tell her to never again correct someone whos first lanuage is French (haha even though its not but just to make her feel stupid!) :p


I would like to know your thoughts on the MSF's :) I love them both but Lightscapade even more. I know a lot of people hate it buts so pretty and natural :)
