Curling irons...

Ok, I cannot use those barrel curling irons with the clip because I always kink my hair. I have to use the brush style curling irons. Well, why are there no regular brush style curling irons that don't have the hair drying feature with it? That never curls my hair. Where'd all the old style curling irons go? I do not want to blow dry and curl my hair at the same time, it doesn't work on me and my very fine hair. Does anyone know where I can find this? Target and Walmart do not have it.
