At least once every day, and usually twice. Yes, you read that right. No, I'm not on Retin-A or anything that makes me super flakey. No, it does not leave me red and raw. I use St. Ives Apricot scrub every single night (about to try baking soda to get by cheaper) after soap (a regular body bar), and most mornings I scrub my cleanser on with a rough wash cloth. I may have to back off that morning scrub this Winter, but in general if I do not scrub that often, I have more acne.

Not to hijack this thread, but do you ladies wash your face 1x or 2x/day? I've heard recs for both, but I never know. I of course wash my face at night, but never know if I should in the AM as well

I wash mine twice a day. I've thought about just splashing my face off in the AM with water, but then I feel like maybe I need to wash my face to get rid of any of my nighttime treatment (AHA/BHA) and moisturizer. I just don't know what to do either!

I don't exfoliate manually like I used to when my skin was oilier. I use a face lotion with AHA a couple of times a week, which works well for me. I'm also using a Vitamin C serum with retinol in it, which helps with skin turnover also, so I don't want to exfoliate on top of that.
I do use body scrub once a week though, especially in cooler weather.
I wash my face twice a day, although I use a milder cleanser in the morning since I'm not washing off any makeup. Washing my face in the morning helps to wake me up, so I don't skip it.

I wash my face twice a day. I use Retin-A so I have to wash my face before I go out in the sunlight. That and it wakes me up and washes away any oil. I use a gel cleanser (MAC's) that helps keep the oilies at bay.

I wash my face every morning with a gentle cleanser because I exercise in the mornings. On days I don't exercise, I usually just splash my face with water.

I wash my face twice a day. I use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser both times - if I used a medicated or foaming cleanser that often, I'd dry my face out. However I do have to do it in the morning because I use either AHAs or retinol at night and have to get it off before I go outside.

I usually exfoliate about once a week, but I think I need to do it more often to keep my skin happy. I just get lazy, though! I'm gonna try to start doing it twice and see how that works for me.

And Katie, I usually only wash my face once a day, at night when I take off my makeup. My skin gets pretty dry in the winter, and when I wash it more often it seems to just dry out further. In the mornings I just splash my face with water, and then apply moisturizer, and it works fine for me, or at least I haven't had anything bad happen!
