I go to the Y right across the street from where I work. It's convenient and cheap, only $25/month. But they only have a few machines, and the ones they have are getting kinda old and should probably be replaced. Also, it gets noisy when the kids upstairs are playing basketball.
I'd much rather work out at home, but I have no room for a treadmill. When there's more daylight in the evenings, I'll quit the Y and start walking outside again. There are no sidewalks or streetlights where I live, so I don't dare walk in the dark

When I do workout it's always at home. I have a nice weight set, lots of cool videos, stretchy bands, and a rebounder.

I'm starting to work out at home. I was interested in joining the local gym here in town, but it's ridiculously overpriced. About 100 dollar a month. No thanks. Robert bought some workout games from our Kinect, and I love them. They're fun and I have seen results. I also for walks with 5 lbs walking weights.

I have an exercise bike at home, and recently bought a pair of 5 lb handweights. I'd like to get another yoga DVD, I can't find mine.

I workout at home. I've pretty much taken over a spare bedroom, and I have my resistance bands there (they go from 5 lbs up to 23 lbs, and you can pair them up to go higher as well), and my sneakers, and soon I'm going to get a laptop set up so I can do exercise videos (I got one of the big Zumba sets recently and I still haven't tried it yet). And there's a nice amount of space as well.

I work out at home, most of the time. My husband and I are active, and over time we've saved money by having our equipment vs. spending money on a gym membership. The times I don't work out at home is when I go to yoga or take an occasional Zumba class. I know some people prefer going to a gym though, because it motivates them.
