My skin is just annoying the crap out of me. I literally can't put any moisturizer on it without getting clogged pores/breakouts after a few hours. I wear sunscreen everyday and I know this attributes to it but I'm not gonna stop wearing it. I have acne prone skin that gets very angry. Doing nothing to it doesn't help either cause it's so oily that my pores start clogging on their own and I get breakouts on my cheeks. I went about a week and a half no makeup and my skin still started freaking. Retin-A helps to an extent but I've been thinking about testing out Proactiv again. I haven't used it in years and now that I'm older my skin has changed. I wanna give it a shot. It really made it look nice back when I was using it.

Thanks for the info. That's good to know. I guess it's got soothing properties as well as UV protection. I'm just worried about reaction because I think I am getting rosacea again. I might have to go back to using LUSH but I didn't think they cleaned makeup well enough. Loved their moisturizers.

It's been about two weeks since I used my Eucerin lotion, and my skin just keeps looking better and better! No new big bumps (except the two new ones from wearing my Tarte foundation yesterday, ugh, no more!), and my skin looks clearer every day. In the last few days, I've started using lemon juice as my nightly toner, and I can already tell a difference in my scars. Still there, but definitely a little lighter. Hope it keeps working!

That sucks about the lotion and foundation...two of my favorites.
The biggest thing that's made the difference for me lately is, strangely, using my Target makeup remover wipes at night and then just splashing water on my face instead of using my Simple cleanser. I haven't had breakouts really, just a lot of redness. Which is weird since it's supposed to be "simple" and in theory not have irritating ingredients but my skin looks so much better since I've stopped using it. I'm gonna repurchase my Boots cleanser and use the Simple one as a body wash to use it up, I think.

I caved and purchased the BE skincare TSV on QVC the other night. My skin has been a wreck lately - red, irritated, breaking out. I was trying to think back to what I was using when my skin looked it's absolute best a few years ago....well I was working at BE and using the line exclusively. I'm going to transition back to their face stuff and skincare and save my liquid foundations for special occasions and nights out.

Just when my skin was getting back to normal (acne clearing up), I'm now breaking out again.

I wanted to pick up some Proactiv at my local mall but they only had the vending machines. I didn't really trust putting my card in there and spending that much. What if it didn't come out? Anyways, I wanna find a stand somewhere with an actual person.

Thanks for the info on the ANR! I ended up going to the counter to pick up a bottle and came home with the ANR, Double Wear Light and 2 GWP plus some bonus samples. It was a fun haul! So far, so good. I've only been using it for a week and it moisturizers well and hasn't caused any breakouts yet.

Placed an order for Proactiv and got the Dark Spot reducing cream as a free gift. I had good results with it last time I used it, so I can't wait to try it out again.

I like my ANR too - seems to soothe my skin when it's irritated.
