Empty palettes

I really need to depot my eyeshadows and blushes and am searching for empty palettes. I am looking into both the MAC eyeshadow and blush palettes as well as the Z pallets.

How are the palettes, for those who have the ones I mentioned? Also, any other suggestions are very welcome. Has anyone used empty CD cases? I really think I want actual palettes, but I have dozens of empty CD cases right now. Ive heard they aren't sturdy for travel though, which could be a problem.

Basically any and all opinions, reviews and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I've done the old CD cases, and let me just say, in comparison they do not feel sturdy enough. At the time they were ok, but now having had other palettes, I could not go back.

I'm using MAC palettes right now. I've popped out the divider to fit more shadows/blushes, and that works for me. I've been using them for years actually. They work for me, but I don't travel with them. If you take the dividers out, I don't feel like they're sturdy enough to take with you. I hate worrying about my makeup while we're traveling! Usually when I travel I take a premade palette (like UD Naked), but if not, I go with a MAC quad or just single pots.

I love the ELF empty 4-pan palettes from Target. It has a mirror, whereas the MAC ones doesn't, so it's definitely more handy. And plus they're only $1, which you can't beat.

Look on Etsy! I've gotten some really pretty ones there, and they are just one big space inside so they fit any shadows or blush. The ones I have are by anothersoul, but several people sell them on there. :-)

I looked at those from the same seller on etsy. I've never ordered anything on etsy before but I will keep those in mind, they look lovely.

Thank you for the suggestion!
