Getting back into things

Went for a run a few days ago. Wow! A run. That's huge for me because:-

(a) I'm not really a runner - I usually walk; and

(b) I've been sick lately and being able to do this (although I had to push myself) helps me feel better about where I'm at.

So I actually managed to go for about 20 minutes at a moderate pace then walked the rest (another 25 mins I think). Go me!

Did 20 mins pilates today too.

Really pushed myself today. Went for 25 minues of my walk/job, with more jogging this time. Can't wait until my Jillian Michael's DVD comes in today so I can do that as well. I'm thinking of doing p90x. I heard it really pushes you to the max. I have the DVD set... hmmm...

Walked for 40 mins this morning. Also started the 3 day perricone diet. I love it.

My inner dialogue goes something like this...
"work out? Psssh. I don't need to work out! I just work."

I exercised yesterday-did Bob Harper's cardio DVD for 25 minutse. I couldn't even last the full hour! I was going to possibly exercise today, but I fell asleep after work instead. I think my body needs a rest after yesterday!

Too sore to work out today

My abs feel like they've been cut in half and stitched back together

This is because (silly me) I launched straight back into pilates (reformer work) without having done any for at least a couple months. Feels as bad as it did the first time ever I tried pilates.

Did another walk/jog combo today, but didn't jog as much as yesterday.

I did my hour-long power yoga today-it's so difficult! I feel good after but my muscles really ache.
